Cardenas & Sons Guitars

Cardenas & Sons Guitars is a small shop dedicated to the creation of one-of-a-kind steel string flat-top acoustic guitars.  Currently we offer several body sizes, 00, 000, Orchestra Model (OM), Dreadnaughts (D), Small Jumbo (J-185), and Jumbo (J-200).  The Ds and Js are also offered in 12-string versions.  Each instrument is meticulously hand crafted each and every step of the way.  As a small custom shop we produce only a handful of high quality instruments per year.  Our only goal is to complete instruments worthy of their owners’ effervescent pride.  Cardenas Guitars is not concerned with volume of a high through-put shop, but rather the quality that is inherent in the building.  Building guitars is our passion, and that is clearly evidenced in the final product.  We offer a varied list of tone-woods and options to render that once-in-a-lifetime special guitar.

Grading of wood is highly subjective and we do not make an attempt to confuse the issue further.  The highest grade of wood available is the only grade we use.  This philosophy extends to all of the components that will go into your build, down to the bone and horn saddles and nuts.  We just do not believe that inferior quality should even be an option.
